Chirrup: Another workshop. Another poem.

A few weeks ago, I was in a workshop where we were asked to write a poem (see it here, if you dare).

Well, Phil, who was one of the co-writers of that afore-mentioned poem, happened to be presenting at another workshop I was at (am I turning into a workshop – and Post-It – junkie?). His presentation set me off writing another poem.

I’d like to say it was Phil that inspired me, but I think it is also because his project is feeding into mine in many cool ways and the stuff he’s discovering and revealing resonate with me.

So, here’s the next poem. I post it here and not elsewhere because this is actually related to the fusion of mobile and Internet (the source of the inspiration), and is meant to be conceptual, as was the previous one.

Apologies to those who are not amused by my writing. 😛

Chirrup

Even minor moments

Are full of possibilities.

The signal bursts,

Calling from hiding,

Interruptive,

Compelling,

Propelling me onto another branch of my Flow.

‘This is good’,

And I follow the ripples of myself,

Telemetry coming in,

From farther and farther away.

I skip over a seam,

The mutual grooming,

Over my people-scape,

Done.

Previous gait,

Returned.
