Now why isn’t Nokia making these?* Technically, how hard can it be? And, I am so biased that I think Nokia could kick tusch in terms of usability and such. Heck, just add Skype to my N93 and the battle is over. 🙂
For that matter, why isn’t any of the traditional phone manufacturers making these? Operator clashes?

But Nokia’s got those! Check out the wi-fi enabled ESeries and how they integrate to all the major VOIP vendors. Of course, it’s all about the corporate market at this point. Deploying a consumer solution (i.e. Skype) is a touchy subject for the reason you pointed out: no one wants to mess with the operators…
